WNET is a place where women of all ages can meet, via email, to discuss all things female - from work, home and family, to relationships, sex and love. We're a highly informal group and all we ask from our members is that they participate on the list - lurking is frowned upon.
« Topics of Conversation »
We do not have restrictions on profanity or subject matter, and we assume anyone who joins the list will be accepting of this. Most people who would consider themselves "delicate" don't last long - though we're always polite, we don't hesitate to speak our minds. Daily email volume ranges from absolutely nothing to overwhelmingly busy, and it's been oft-noted that WNET email can keep you from getting anything else done if you let it. We accept no responsibility for the mess in your kitchen, the unfinished work, or the cramping in your fingers from typing.
« The WNET Members »
Our members are from Canada, the United States and Europe. We are from many backgrounds, religions, demographics, neighbourhoods and political bents, but we share a desire to remain open-minded and friendly and interested in learning from each other.
« How to join WNET »
If you'd like to join us, head on over to the subscription page and follow the instructions to subscribe. Your membership will go on hold until it's approved by the list owner. Before you can join, you'll be asked to fill in a brief questionaire about yourself - and your answers will be posted to the list at the same time as your subscription is approved. We ask mostly silly questions that will let us get to know you a little bit and give you the chance to join the conversation! It's not optional. We ask this of everyone who joins the list.
(current members can use the subscription management page to change their options any time)
